Podere Villetta

Podere Villetta is a rural complex made up of 2 apartments, now fitted out as a Holiday Home, and the residence of the Rapi Family, who purchased the entire complex in 1999.

The careful and detailed renovation carried out by the owners has left the place's original features intact. The rustic and rural nature of the complex has been retained, as can be seen directly by the wooden beams, the terracotta roof tiles or the marble sink in the apartment named La Colombaia (The Garret).

The 2 apartments have been carved out of the old barn and from the oldest part of the farmhouse, including the garret or 'colombaia'.

The spacious rooms and outdoor spaces unrestricted by fencing, offer guests every conceivable comfort, making them feel at home, surrounded by a cosy, homely environment.

Surrounded by the Chianti area, Podere Villetta offers a magnificent view of San Gimignano and the Tuscan countryside.

Podere Villetta is less than 1 km from Vico d'Elsa, a small village that dates back to medieval times, situated on a hill that dominates the middle Elsa Valley.

The historical importance of Vico d'Elsa in medieval times is due to the fact that it is located close to the Francigena Way.
